Returns/Exchange

Please note that most of the products on this site are handmade, so minor finishing defects could be there. We want you to love what you ordered, and try to bring you the best of the products, but if something is not right, let us know at: care@thejottingdots.com

We have a "no return no exchange" policy simply because of the nature of stationery products. None of the products are eligible for return or exchange other than the scenario mentioned below -

  • For products damaged in transit
  • Incorrect/damaged products received

In the unlikely scenario where the customer receives a damaged/defective product or a product which does not comply with the original order specification; the customer should contact at care@thejottingdots.com within 48 hours upon receiving the product with the order number along with the image of the wrongfully delivered or defective item.  Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note, returns and exchanges will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • The return request is made after 7 days of receiving the product
  • The product appears to be used or damaged
  • The product returned is not in the same condition as it was received in
  • The product was purchased as part of a sale or any ongoing promotion

No return is acceptable for product under "clearance section" or part of "oops collection" or "customised products (including name customisation)".

No return and refunds are applicable for international orders.

 Re-funds 

  • Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
  • If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit or debit card (or original method of payment).
  • You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non­refundable.
  • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Sale items refund: only regular priced items may be refunded, we do not refund sale items.

Cancellation

  • Cancellation is only applicable if the order is not proceed for dispatch.
